PowerSmart Reflex Initially Promotes the Statistical Multiplexing Products Domestically

2014-09-12

PowerSmart officially launched its Reflex module days ago, which is the optional module for PowerSmart series encoders. The main function of Reflex module is based on trends such as the specific quality parameters of various input streams of encoder for the bandwidth allocation, so that the bandwidth can be allocated dynamically among all programs as reasonable as possible, in order  to improve the program quality to the greatest extent in the limited total bandwidth. Reflex module uses advanced technology, analyzing and multiplexing the multi-channel H.264-TS stream after the encoding of multiple encoder equipments and adopting the advanced and flexible rate allocation algorithm for dynamic allocation of bandwidth within the limited bandwidth of the output high-quality stream.

Employing the world’s leading closed-loop statistical multiplexing mode, PowerSmart Reflex (statistical multiplexing) modules can greatly improve the bandwidth utilization and video quality, supporting for up to 16 of the statistical multiplexing, ASI, and IP output mode etc. It is the first H.264 encoder product in the country supporting this mode, which also marks that PowerSmart officially enters the international forefront encoder competition.

PowerSmart Reflex (statistical multiplexing) module is now on the trial in two provincial radio and television networks, with excellent results, and highly praise by users.
